Mommy decided to take me on an egg hunt Saturday at 10:30 before out 2pm dinner…good thing Grandma Mina wasn’t around because she would have freaked out that mommy hadn’t even made dinner yet. I have faith in mommy though, she some how pulls it all together at the last minute!

There were so many eggs that I had to make an executive decision which to pass and which to grab…as you can see, I’m deep in thought!

I had a full basked of eggs, but some kids came late at they didn’t get any, so mommy and I thought it was a good idea to share some eggs with a little girl that was late. I even helped to load her basket. Mommy was proud of me for sharing!

Now off to the moon house, mommy’s gotta get ready for company!

Mommy said, “Guess who’s coming over today?” I said, “I don’t know, you tell me?” I was happy to find out the answer!

We all had some super yummy food then it was egg hunt time, Daddy took us all out front and made us find an egg, whatever color we picked up was what we would be looking for in the yard if the Easter Bunny showed up.

Mommy and I went down together but the guy that loaded us put my in wrong, I was super scared that I was going to fall out, so we decided to be done afterwards. It was fun while it lasted!

Thusrday we went on a mine tour, it was super cool, we got to inside the mine and check out some of the tools they used. The tour guide actually worked in the mine when it was operated, he made a whopping $300 a month back in the 70’s

Inside the processing facility, they used gravity to sort out the metals from the rock.

This picture does not do the stairs above justice, they were at a 45 degree angle, NO WAY would I want to go up those! Scary!

Overall we had a great time and look forward to doing it again some day! Thanks Uncle Eric & Auntie Franny for inviting us.

Mommy & Daddy took Ruby and I on an adventure to Whistler. We went to meet Uncle Eric & Auntie Franny up at the place they rent, I call it the snow house. It was a long drive but Ruby and I did great!

When we got there we went out to dinner then went to see a Fire & Ice show…daddy decided that he wanted to try out as a fire dancer, all you gotta do it twirl a want with fire on the end of it in a circle. The snowboarding was super cool though, I was quiet impressed!

Afterwards we went to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, I got to pick some things out, first thing was a truffle bunny

The next morning we woke up and did the Peak to Peak Gondola ride, it was fun! We went way up high and got to see snowboarders & skiers below us, it was way cool!

Mommy made chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes & steamed broccoli Tues night because Eric & Franny had to drive all the way back to Seattle that day, they weren’t going to be home until 8:15pm. It was a tasty dinner! The next morning mommy & daddy woke up and made crepes together, daddy made the yummy crepes, mommy made the toppings…they make a good team!

My cousins from Portland came for a visit this weekend, I haven’t seen Eva since I was about 6 months old. So I was super excited! I have to admit I thought that Eva was a robot from Wall-E, but mommy set me straight.

Eva just turned 4 so I wanted to get her a birthday gift, I have never really seen a Barbie, but I was really interested it! Happy birthday Eva!!!

First stop on our adventure, Ivar’s. Eva and I are enjoying calamari, that stuff was good!

I forgot to mention, we found out that Eva gets car sick, she had to wear her clothes that she threw up on all day, poor girl…I could have given her mine but she would have looked really funny in them. So, once we got home it was bath time.

Dear Chelsea, Tony, Eva and Emma –

I really loved to play with you and go on our adventures together. I look forward to seeing you again either in Portland or Seattle. I’ll make sure my mommy calls you when we are down so that we can hang out. We love all of you!!

Today I got an Xray of my foot, and got to see my bones (or skeletone, from one of my favorite songs).

The doctor had me walk around, pick up my toes, and try to hop on one foot.  I couldn’t hop, because that’s way too hard!  The doctor said that’s OK, though.

The good news is that I don’t need any surgery right now because my bones aren’t fully developed yet (not enough calcium).  We’ll have to check again in 6 months after my bones have grown some more.

When we were done with the doctors, we went and had strawberry pancakes!  I had tons of whoopin’ cream on mine, and a giant bamama.
