I love riding while daddy pulls me up the hill!

Mommy and I went down together but the guy that loaded us put my in wrong, I was super scared that I was going to fall out, so we decided to be done afterwards. It was fun while it lasted!

Thusrday we went on a mine tour, it was super cool, we got to inside the mine and check out some of the tools they used. The tour guide actually worked in the mine when it was operated, he made a whopping $300 a month back in the 70’s

Inside the processing facility, they used gravity to sort out the metals from the rock.

This picture does not do the stairs above justice, they were at a 45 degree angle, NO WAY would I want to go up those! Scary!

IMG_6231IMG_6235

A man car, this would carry people into the mine, it was actually pretty small!

Panning for gold…

Overall we had a great time and look forward to doing it again some day! Thanks Uncle Eric & Auntie Franny for inviting us.

I sure enjoy looking at all these great pictures. You, especially, bring a smile to my face. How lucky you are to have parents that provide all these experiences for you and your sister. That mine was really interesting. Your sledding looked like a lot of fun!! Wish I could have been there.
    Love, Grandma
