Olivers Updates

I tried dog food for the first time.  The jury is still out if it was good or not.  The flavor was complex, with overtones of chicken and beef products highlighting a strong base of whole ground grain sorghum – whatever that is.

Daddy took it out of my mouth before I could fully appreciate the subtle nuances that Blu has been telling me so much about lately.

I got to visit with Kari and the kids at Marymoor Park, we took both dogs for a walk through the park and I loved all the dogs!

Mommy had to drop daddy off in Bellingham so she decided to take me to see my cousins Griffin and Hudson. I loved my short visit with them!

Hudson – he is about to turn 1!

Griffin is such a cool big brother! I can’t wait to be a big brother too so I can be just as nice as he is.

I thought I would let you know about all the things I love to do these days.

1. Stand and cruise the couch.

2. Sit on my quad while mommy and daddy (and Cierra too) push me around.

3. Crawl…fast!

4. Try to get to the dog food before mommy and daddy.

5. Play in the cat water, this is so much fun, you should try it sometime!

6. Eat real food that is chopped up into small bits.

7. Cry when something scares me, like the crazy sasquatch at Target, I really don’t like that thing! For all of you that may want to get me a gift for my b-day, may I request that I NEVER see that in my house!

8. Play the bongos with daddy, I even like to crawl on them to get to the couch.

9. Scream when I don’t get my way.

10. Give the dog and cat lots of love.

11. Sleep in with daddy.

12. Play with Carter and Camden, I’m so thrilled they can now call WA home, I’ll have boys to grow up with!

13. Play in the bath, this really is one of my favorite things to do!

14. Point at things that I like or want.

15. Drink out of a straw like a big boy. I just learned this tonight, thanks daddy!

Danielle had to to to an appointment so Braden, mommy and I all hung out for the day. We went to the park, for a walk, had an ice cream cone and then went to feed the ducks. Here are some pictures of Braden…I was snoozin’!

Not only did we find ducks, we found a chicken too!

The next day we went to visit Danielle, Doug, Braden and Trenton so that we could go see Boogie Bear!

Trenton is 2 months old.

I really wanted to play with Baby Trenton but mommy thought it was best that I don’t, I’m not sure what gentle means yet.

This weekend I got to hang out with my family at Seaside, OR, it was a long drive but it was worth it. First stop…Vancouver to check out Uncle Seth’s boat. This was my first boat ride!

My first steps in the pacific ocean, I LOVED it!

I love it so much that my clothes magically came off so I could sit in it. Mmmm, salt water.

Daddy took a chance and carried me naked up to the top of the beach, I managed to not tinkle on him, he was grateful!

So tuckered I couldn’t take it anymore, thankfully mommy put a cover over my head or I would have looked like a lobster.

Look at me go, I learned to crawl on all fours this weekend!
