Oliver Robert Mattson
Posted on Friday, November 6th, 2009 at 10:12 amAt approx 9:15am, Oliver was born via caesarian. He’s definitely a whopper at 9lb 13oz, and 21 inches long. Total labor time was 33 hours, with quite a few hours of pushing, but he just wasn’t going to fit past the pubic bone.

Welcome to the outside world Oliver! Can’t wait to introduce you to your cousins, they’re very excited to meet you. Congratulations to you both Dave and Elise, you’re proud new parents! Great job!
Congrats Elise and Dave! Oliver is such a cutie…what a big boy! Now time to get a little rest after that long 33 hours of labor…wow, good job Elise!

He is absolutely perfect! The video cracks me up…”quit staring at me and give me some milk…I’ve already been waiting for well over 9 months! Why are you shining that bright light in my newly opened eyes?”.
Congratulations to you both…Oliver has a great mom & dad! And yeah, get your rest while you are at the nice Evergreen “hotel”…not likely to get much sleep once you check out :-)… but he will be well worth every second of missed sleep!
