Foot update
Posted on Friday, January 8th, 2010 at 5:00 pmToday Oliver got his last cast, after having his Achilles tendon snipped. Over the next three weeks, it will reconnect itself at the proper length, and everything should be ducky.
He expressed great displeasure during the procedure though, but has since calmed down thanks to some immediate pain med injection, and then an oral dose of Tylenol + codeine. Currently, he’s snoozing away, and there should not be any additional pain after he wakes up.
Oh we are so glad all went well. Can’t wait to see you all and Oliver’s LAST cast in a couple weeks.
Poor guy, that’s got to be pretty rough in the moment! What a relief to know that it’s near the end! Give him many hugs and kisses for us, from Anutie Stacey and Uncle Seth!
I have been praying that everything would be ok with Oliver’s little operation. Glad to hear that my prayers have been answered. I love that little guy!

We received your lovely mailer with web info, and now have browsed through ALL entries. How exciting! I sure loved holding “little man” at Christmas and look forward to my next opportunity!!
